
You can try again. You can start over. You can allow yourself space to take a break from something that’s not quite working out. To ask for help. To regroup. To take care of yourself. To work at your own pace.
By starting over, you can also accept some hard truths. Like the fact that the only thing you can really control is yourself. You control the skills and knowledge you gain. You control how much effort you put into things.
You, and only you, control your passion, drive, and the energy you invite into your life. And by accepting these truths, you’ll have to accept that even the best planner cannot plan for every possible outcome. T
rouble can find its way to good people, positive people, educated people, skilled people, and hardworking people. So sometimes being the best means being the one who is willing to try again.
And if you’re willing to try again, you can take a step back. You can look at what you’ve done so far. You can revise your goals and rework your plans.
You can even rethink your goals and come up with a totally new plan! Just remember that no matter what you decide, you are not alone, you are not a failure, you will be okay, and that you can take comfort in the fact that you can try again.
